The identity of the lady whose decomposing body was found in a hostel room in Anambra state earlier in the week has been identified.
She was Crystal Ogbunando, a graduate of UNN and a native of Nimo in Anambra state. The deceased's naked body was found trapped close to one of the power sources inside her room in a lodge at Ifite Awka, Anambra State where students of Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka reside.
According to the Director of Public Relations of the University, Dr. Emmanuel Ojukwu, investigations revealed that the deceased was a Pharmacy graduate of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka and had just completed her internship at the Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Teaching Hospital, Awka.
A lodge mate said they began to search for her after she was not seen for several days. The search led them to her room which already had big flies circling around it. The horrible stench coming out of her room led them to force the door open and there, they saw the body.
